March 30: Huai’an Airport to launch new flights to Tianjian and Dalian

Huai’an Lianshui Airport (HIA) has announced three new domestic flights connecting Tianjin and Dalian to Huai’an effective from March 30, a press release said.

Flight G52671 operated by China Express will depart from Dalian at 14:00 and reach Huai’an at 15:40. On the return leg, Flight G52672 will depart Huai’an at 21:35 and arrive in Dalian at 23:15.

Tianjin Airlines’ Flight GS6581 will depart from Tianjin at 9:50 and reach Huai’an at 11:20 and in the return direction Flight GS6582 will depart Huai’an at 17:10 and arrive in Tianjin at 18:50. The above two flights only operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the service to Tianjin will be on Flight GS6583. Flights depart Tianjin at 9:50 and arrive in Huai’an at 11:20. Return service GS6584 is scheduled to leave Huai’an at 16:50 and arrive in Tianjin at 18:25.

With the joining of Tianjin Airlines, the number of airlines serving Huai’an Lianshui Airport reaches four. The other three are China Eastern Airlines, China Express Airlines, and Spring Airlines.

HIA also announced the start of two scheduled low-fare services to Xiamen and Shenyang from March 30. Spring Airlines is offering one-way fares as low as 99 yuan to Shenyang and 199 yuan to Xiamen excluding taxes and fees. Service will initially operate four days per week except Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Due to market factors, China Eastern Airlines will end service to Wuhan and Zhanjiang that it serves from Huai’an Lianshui Airport. Flights MU2919 and MU2920 will be discontinued on March 29.
